Description
Desert King Fig only produces one reliable good crop in August each year. Figs are produced on the previous seasons wood, so don’t cut more than half of last years growth when pruning. The Desert King Fig Tree is a good choice for cooler climates. It is a large, deep green fig with strawberry red flesh. Desert king fig fruit heavily and produced, excellent quality, sweet figs. Sets a large early crop from June to August. There is a chance for a secondary crop if the Summer is long. Grows in zones: 7 – 10
